Membership is not required to attend our events, but it’s a great deal at just £10 per year.

Membership benefits include:

  • Discounts on Centre activities, including the Luncheon Club.

  • Voting rights on the future of our Centre at our General Meetings.

How to Join Our Membership

You can sign up by visiting the Centre in person and asking a staff member for a membership form. Alternatively, download the form online, fill it out, and bring it with you when you’re ready.

Your membership becomes active on the day you pay the fee, so you can start enjoying the benefits right away!

With limited funding, ESEACC has to rely heavily on the support of our dedicated volunteers. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to offer the wide range of activities we provide for the community.

If you have skills that could contribute to the growth of our Centre, we’d love to hear from you. If you can’t commit regularly, you can still sign up to help at our events on an occasional basis.

Join our team of volunteers and get involved in your community today!

We truly appreciate all forms of support, every gesture helps us keep going.

As a community centre, we understand that students and researchers are often interested in our work, our staff, and the communities we support. We warmly welcome those who are curious and wish to engage with us.

At the same time, as these requests increase, our already stretched team is not always able to accommodate individual research enquiries, as they can be time-intensive and place additional demands on staff capacity.

For this reason, we encourage students and researchers to first engage with our community by attending events and activities, and to begin building relationships with our staff and service users. We ask that this is your first step, rather than relying on staff or volunteers to identify participants for your research. Please engage with our community in a respectful and meaningful way, and recognise individuals as community members first, rather than solely as research subjects.

Once you are ready to proceed, all research and filming projects conducted at the Centre must be approved in advance. Please complete a Project Verification and Authorisation Letter and submit it to us via email. We do not permit any research or filming to take place at the Centre without prior approval, particularly where adults at risk may be involved.
